Garmin 2455LT Review
This Product has fee map updates and fee traffic details: actually purchased by advertisement - useless coupons that invite you to select them and once you do, just hang. No biggie - like the free maps and ignore the ads. Ads disappear completely once you reach cruising speed.
I've had a mature Garmin and a Tom Tom. My estimation: between these a few, stick to Garmin. Garmin's software is greater and unlike TomTom, it won't quit whenever your destination coordinates are slightly off-road.
About this particular unit versus the older Garmin I'd: that one is much better, as well as the display is much less cluttered, a smaller amount distracting. The sound is apparent, and gets most street names right. I miss some with the stuff the older unit accustomed to screen, but it is far better and safer this way.
You most likely wish to download the consumer manual from Garmin's website - it doesn't come with the unit.
